The owner of the kennel
       is Irina Savilo – the chief of the
  “Black Russian Terrier” section in the LCF. 

We live in Riga , the capital city of Latvia . We have owned Black terrier since 1992, and have been breeding since 2001. Kennel “AVE BAHRAI” was registered in FCI in 2002. This is the only kennel in Latvia , specializing on BRT.

The kennel got it's name in honour of our first Black terrier – bitch BAHRA OLD GOLD. It was a marvelous dog which possessed all the unique traits of character peculiar to this breed and which presented us years full of love and happiness. Our family and all our friends recollect it with warmly and gratefully!

Our goal is to produce a beautiful dog with impeccable temperament and sound physical structure, a dog with the spirit, courage, willingness to work in any fields and a dog which can be a loving family companion.

The strict control over the health of the dogs is obligatory carried out in our kennel: the results of x-rays of hips; BH – test pass and show results.

We select stud dogs on the basis of their working abilities, temperament and conformation. We carefully research the bloodlines ensuring that the breeding will produce the finest quality puppies. We believe that a breeding must be planned very carefully to improve the best qualities of the Russian Black Terriers.

I express my great gratitude to the dogs' owners from our kennel, who assist in both work of the kennel and work of the club “Black Terrier”, who are always ready to help when it is necessary.
